The FBLA Feud Food vs Scotus is next Friday! To prepare for it, we are holding a class challenge. Next week, please bring pantry items or a cash donation to the following teachers. The winning class gets to go first to lunch for a week!

Attention Lakeview:
In celebration of homecoming in the coming weeks, we will have a pep rally next Friday, Sept. 11th in the South Gym. The band will help kick things off circling the school and dismissing students at 10:00 am. We should be done before the start of 4th period. Go Vikings!

HOCO ticket sales for the 2026 HOCO Dance “Meet Me Under the Sea” start Tuesday September 8th, and will run through FRIDAY September 18th. $5 per ticket.
The homecoming WHITE OUT football game is September 18th! Click on the link to order before midnight on September 9th! Shirts will be available for pick up at the school the week of the game. A notification will be sent out once they are available!

If you are planning to bring a date to the homecoming dance that does not attend school at Lakeview, you must pick up and have your date fill out the Out of Town Date form. The forms are located in the school office. All forms must be filled out and turned in by Sept 17th. If you do not have one filled out, your date will not be allowed into the dance.
Soccer Girls: We need to raise some money by doing some concessions. I know many of you are in a sport this fall, but if you aren't and can work concessions on Sept. 8th and/or Sept 14th from about 4:30 - 6:00, please let me know ASAP. We need a minimum of 5 girls.
CCC will be offering an ACT Prep Class: Students may attend either in person at the Grand Island campus or virtually via WebEx. The cost of the class is $50.
Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:45 p.m., beginning September 8 and ending October 13. Students can register online at www.cccneb.edu/communityclasssearch or complete and submit the registration form in the brochure. See Mrs. Rambour for a brochure.
2025-2026 Yearbooks are here! If you preordered last spring, your book has been delivered to your Viking/Team Time Teacher or Mrs. Rambour if you have college/work release at the end of the day. If you didn't preorder one, we've got your back! We have some extras available for sale! $60 is all it takes to get a copy of one of the best yearbooks ever produced at LHS! Stop by Mrs. Schatz's room during Viking/Team Time to get yours today!
There will be a FBLA meeting Wednesday during VT in the pit! Dues are due Oct. 1st to Mrs. Dlouhy.
Attention All Sophomores! The first way you will kick-start your class account is paying $5 to your sponsor, Mrs. Legenza. Please turn in your $5 dues no later than Tuesday, Sept. 1st!
There has been some change in YFFC evening groups. They will now host all 9th-12th grade students on Monday evenings at the downtown location.
