Today is Celebrate Learning Day! Here is today’s schedule.
· 9th graders- PreACT test will begin at 8:00AM in the following classrooms- Ms. Arlt, Mr. Clark, Mr. Piper, and Mr Bargen. Open this LINK to see the 9th grade room assignments for Tuesday. 9th graders will report to your testing room right at 8:00AM on Tuesday.
· 10th graders- PreACT test will begin at 8:00AM in the East gym.
· 11th graders- The ACT all juniors will meet in the cafeteria at 7:45AM for breakfast and instructions for testing. After instructions 11th graders will move to the West gym for testing. Testing will run from approximately 8:00-1:00. You will be provided a snack during this time. Once you are done testing you are dismissed from school.
· 12th graders- Any 12th grader who is on the failing list on Monday must report to school on Tuesday, March 25th. These students will report to Mrs. Schaad's classroom and will work until they are all caught up. Attendance will be taken and students who do not report will make up time in ISS. All 12th graders who are not failing will have the day off of school on Tuesday, March 25th.
Juniors
On Tuesday, March 25th you have your ACT testing day. You will follow this schedule.
· 11th graders- The ACT all juniors will meet in the cafeteria at 7:45AM for breakfast and instructions for testing. After instructions, 11th graders will move to the West gym for testing. Testing will run from approximately 8:00-1:00. You will be provided a snack during this time. Once you are done testing you are dismissed from school.
· Remember you have been placed on an ACT team and you can win prizes. Check out the links below if you want to review the team you are on and the prizes you can win.

7:45 am- eat BREAKFAST at LHS! Check cell phones, earbuds,
smartwatches, --ALL devices MUST be locked in students’ lockers--no devices allowed
in the gym during the entire testing session, including during both breaks.
8:10- Mrs. Higgins begins reading the verbal instructions
8:45 to 9:30- Test #1- English- 75 Questions- 45 minutes (announce 5 minutes remaining…). Allow approx 5 mins for verbal instructions for the next test.
9:35- Test #2- Math- 60 Questions- 60 minutes
10:35- BREAK - 15 minutes
a. Snack and Drink in hallway near gym
b. Restroom
c. Stretch...verbal instructions after 15 minute break
10:50- Test #3- Reading- 40 Questions- 35 minutes
11:25- Test #4- Science- 40 Questions- 35 minutes
12:00- BREAK- 5 minutes stretch--students stay in gym
12:05- Test #5- Writing test- 40 minutes
12:45- Complete Testing

Congratulations to Mrs. Korte and the speech qualifiers for making State this Wednesday in Kearney. We will have a state send-off tomorrow during Viking Time. Please take your Viking/Team time class to the pit so we can announce and congratulate our speech qualifiers.

There will be a FBLA meeting on Wednesday in the pit! If you are interested in running for an office next year, be sure to attend the meeting or check your email after it.
